A few odd links found for Kelsey Keyes

I did a quick google search for Kelsey Keyes, and I came up with this http://olivercowdery.com/census/1830_K.htm. Fascinating! Much more fascinating

For more information, go to Kelsey Keyes' (or Keyes's -- which one is it, spiridontrepka? Since you've been known to lecture me about this) delicious page at http://delicious.com/kelseykeyes or her LinkIn page: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/dir/kelsey/keyes. I recommend both.

Eating food, drinking wine

Nothing original, I know. But I am definitely looking forward to spending time with friends this weekend, especially Kelsey Ann Keyes, spiridontrepka, and The Maker. These are extraordinarily elegant and witty people, and I still haven't adjusted to the fact that one of them is leaving very soon, another potentially somewhat soon. I am not ready to make new friends; I only have the energy for the old.

And, for an adorable example of why I love my elegant and thoughtful friends, here is a picture of Kelsey Keyes making crepes. Brilliant!

Oh, and cheers to the Corkscrew, in Urbana, and their lovely wine tasting nights!

Being a Maker

I recommend this blog, which not only contains more Kelsey Keyes references (as does the always excellent http://spiridontrepka.livejournal.com/tag/kelsey+keyes), but also lovely musings about art and life.

Long live Kelsey Ann Clough Keyes!

Kelsey Keyes to the Kingdom

I found this exploration of the word "Keyes" on the internet -- and found it hilarious and almost profound. It's amazing how much time and energy people can spend trolling the Bible for clues to explain this weird world.

I also loved the source site for its gorgeous use of the Pride colors and flying doves . . . almost absurdly kitschy!
